Elaine Rose Lanoue is a contemporary acrylic painter from the Houston area who works with her artist husband Guiteau Lanoue. Her love of diverse ethnicities and landscapes she creates from observation and imagination she calls her happy paintings.
She has been blessed to receive numerous awards and honors since the late 1990s thru 2020 for which she gives God all the praise. Her most recent two month invitational exhibit was at the Nave Museum in Victoria TX. She also has sold several paintings to the Museum of Art and Whimsy in Sarasota FL.
Lanoue takes her subject matter and breathes a fire of bold and explosive color in it. Her work is demanding of your attention and hard to pull away from. Her talent is embraced in the Houston art world as well as in different states where she has exhibited.
