I’m a mixed media artist who specializes in encaustic painting. I frequently embed unique maps and found objects in paintings fully made of beeswax. The wax is melted, painted on wet and then fired. I’m a green artist with a focus on recycling materials whenever possible and make all my own frames and substrates, often from unusual things like vintage boxes & old musical instruments. Occasionally I also make animals like owls, bees and fish fully from found objects.
