Silver Street Studios hosts a vibrant celebration of contemporary art created by artists who live or work within Harris County, juried by visionary curator and cultural leader, Hesse McGraw.

The artists at Winter Street Studios explore the rainbow as both metaphor and structure, celebrating multiplicity in the layered, sometimes dissonant, but often beautiful coexistence of perspectives.

Juried by Houston gallerist Heidi Vaughan, the exhibition showcases forty-four works in various media created by members of the National Women’s Caucus for Art from Texas and across the United States.

Through dynamic visual storytelling, the exhibition reflects the excitement surrounding the world’s most celebrated sporting event and highlights Houston’s role as a global crossroads where cultures connect.

Combining painting, animation, and sculpture, Nohelia Vargas Bolívar questions what we are beneath the names the world gives us, the titles we earn, the roles we inherit, and the borders of gender, faith, and ideology we are asked to live within.
