visit website

This panel brings together Chicanx photographers Mike Lazzo, Alejandra Quintos, and Violeta Alvarez, moderated by Isaac Rodriguez of Chicano Boulevard and Sofia Hernandez of La Chingona Collab.

The conversation explores what it means to photograph one’s own community, how identity and lived experience shape the work, and the role of photography in preserving culture and challenging erasure. Panelists will reflect on representation, responsibility, and storytelling through image-making.
