The Measure of Time

Sawyer Yards and Spring Street Studios are proud to announce The Measure of Time, a special tenant exhibition curated by Robin Griffith.

Time is the one commodity that becomes new at midnight and ages through calculated measurements in the span of a day. We can see it in a path that travels from one direction to another fully dependent on light entering space. It can be literal and metaphorical as we have seen in the history of art. The relationship between time and space has encompassed many creative avenues. Once a day is gone, we no longer get that time back. It can be remembered through the communication of documenting visual and written language. No matter how realistic or abstract, all is a representation of the imprint we give and leave behind.
