Artist April Murphy presents Show Your Cards, an exhibition of original paintings inspired by classic playing cards. Each canvas features well loved animals and their quirky personalities. They will make you smile! This exhibition highlights the full hearts and diamonds suits, the first half of Murphy's ongoing project to paint the entire deck (which will be complete by November). Exclusive collector playing card deck preorders will be available at the exhibit.

About the Artist:
April Murphy is an innovative artist who translates human experiences into art using animals and visual story telling. She writes: "The driving force behind my work is to bring people lightness and create connection. I call it Feel Good Art!". Murphy works out of studio 121 at Silver Street Studios, and was a featured artist at the Bayou City Art Festival in 2016, and at the Chevron Houston Marathon in 2020. Murphy was also awarded a packaging design partnership with Karbach Brewing Company for the Bayou City Art Festival in 2022.
