Sabine Street Studios presents Sacred Celestial, a selection of new looks from Gin Martini, a longtime Sabine Street artist and fashion designer, in the East Corridor Gallery. Martini writes of her new work:

"As someone who has struggled with PCOS, and now PMOS, for a few years, I have had a hard time feeling feminine. I designed this collection entitled "Sacred Celestial" to represent What it means to me to feel feminine: soft, powerful, strong, a true being from the stars. I use donated fabrics, materials, deadstock and upholstry samples to created these pieces. This is just a few looks from what will be a 30 piece collection coming soon. Thank you and enjoy."

About the Artist:

Gin Martini is a Clothing Brand from Houston, TX. Their focus is on creating custom clothing and costumes for performers, dancers, drag queens, musicians and the circus! They are big on upcycling and sustainability, turning thrifted or donated fabrics/Clothing into new and exciting pieces!

Gin Martini Herself has graduated from Houston Community College(HCC) with her A.A.S. in Fashion Design. She has had opportunity to travel to New York and London to study fashion design. She makes music as well and currently has released three albums. Martini continues working to produce, sing and record new music, in addition to helping grow the art scene in Houston, Texas by holding monthly parties and numerous fashion shows, showcasing her designs, as well as showcasing local models, makeup artists, and musical talent.
