G’ Perez, "Still, We Bloom"
Reflective Conditions
- Mon, Jun 1, 2026 - Sat, Jun 27, 2026 9am - 5pm On View
Bay 300 Gallery at The Silos at Sawyer Yards1502 Sawyer
Reflective Conditions explores the relationship between surface, material, and perception through resin-based works layered with metallic finishes and tactile textures. Black, gold, and silver become shifting environments rather than static colors, reacting to light and movement as viewers navigate the space.
The works examine reflection as both concealment and exposure — polished surfaces reveal texture, depth, and imperfection beneath their finish. Through layering, gloss, and material contrast, the exhibition considers how light transforms objects, surfaces, and spatial experience.
