“Street Dancer”, by Lou Vest

Oops, Art Happened!

Inspiration rarely arrives with a roadmap. Sometimes it appears in a dream half-remembered by morning, a fleeting shadow across a city street, a lyric that lingers long after the music ends, or a feeling stirred by a line of poetry.  Artists often cannot fully explain where an idea begins — only that something sparks, and they feel compelled to follow it.

Oops, Art Happened! celebrates the wonderfully unpredictable journey of creativity. The painters, photographers, sketch artists, and ceramicists in this exhibition each followed their own instincts, curiosities, and muses. Some works emerged from careful intention, others from happy accidents. Together, they reflect the beautiful chaos of artistic process — where observation, emotion, memory, sound, texture, movement, and imagination collide.

Though every artist’s path is unique, the works in this exhibition form a collective conversation influenced by the world unfolding around us.  These pieces remind us that inspiration is everywhere. What begins as scattered thoughts and passing moments, ultimately comes together here as a unified celebration of creativity.
