Ocean in the Skies exhibition is a collection of stories of visions, life, and the courage of Art to capture those experiences. A bouquet of dreamy Art. These paint series are Chu's stories about a connection between Art, Dreams and the hope of Swimming in an Ocean someday.
Artist Statement - Art imitates life. Sometimes, Art imitates dreams. I always dream about life being an odyssey: a meandering of sorts through a forlorn landscape merging onto the realm of abundant skies. In the last few years, these skies have morphed into vast oceans of mystery and support. A persistent space where fantasy and reality form a bond.
Opening Reception - June 2nd from 6 PM - 8 PM in the West Gallery of Silver Street Studios.
