Every Painting Has A Story

visit website

Silos artist MaryAnn Lucas likes to work in collage of recycling papers and paintings along with found objects often letting that process dictate the outcome.  She views her work as an exciting journey into the unknown - working intuitively, linking one idea to the next progressing toward a finished piece. This method enables her to keep her work fresh and creative. She continually experiments with a variety of techniques and mediums living up to her motto: “The only failure is not to try”.

MaryAnn has been seriously practicing art since the 1990's. She supports and belongs to numerous art organizations and her studying has consisted of taking courses at formal educational institutions as well as specialized tutorial sessions with various experts. MaryAnn is a firm believer that "practice is the best learning tool", and this has enabled her to become proficient in a variety of medium. Her studio is in the Silos #123.
