During COVID, artist Gretchen Sparks began studying personal photographs and experiences; geology and history; and dreaming about the Chinati Mountains.
From these experiences the Chinati Mountains Study evolved into a series of paintings, drawings, and sculptures that helped Sparks find and develop her creative voice through the pandemic.
Opening reception on January 8th from 5 PM - 7 PM. Located in the West Galery of Silver Street Studios.
