Big Ideas/ small frames

visit website

Visit Bay 300 of the Silos at Sawyer Yards for the 2026 edition of Big Ideas/ small frames. This exhibition featuring small works by the artists of the Silos is based on the idea that size doesn’t matter. Something small and understated can draw you in just as powerfully as something large.

The shared scale between the artists, artworks no bigger than 10 inches square, creates a common point of departure, and allows individual approaches to emerge through formal and material choices, gesture, and differences in process. The exhibition invites close investigation, revealing how variation and intention unfold within a unified frame. All artworks created by current artists of The Silos, and are on view in the Bay 300 corridor at the east end of the building.
