Beginnings

Sawyer Yards is pleased to announce Beginnings, a collective exhibition of Silver Street artists contemplating new directions in their lives and artwork. The exhibition is curated by Rosa Ana Orlando, who has curated exhibitions at Sawyer Yards, Monterosso Gallery, The Holocaust Museum and more.

Beginnings heralds everything from a new year, to a new art direction, to surviving a pandemic. We as artists, and as people, are constantly renewing and reinventing ourselves. This exhibition is an opportunity to celebrate those new directions, visions, and hopes for the future. For the first Silver Street tenant exhibition of 2023, we explore what it means to begin again, and how we can share our new beginnings with the community around us.

The exhibition will open with a reception on February 11th, from 5:00 - 7:00pm, immediately after Second Saturday. Join the artists for light bites and beverages at Silver Street Studios!
