As a highly sensitive and spiritual individual much of my work is centered around biblical, mythological, psychological, and emotional themes, including my nature and landscape paintings. I strive to combine the intensity, beauty, and awe I feel when in prayer with the serenity experienced in nature using the visual language of oil paint. The symbolic subject matter incorporates truth and beauty along with elements of hope in each painting. I would like to evoke a sense of mystery and awe in my work. This is the state of mind where one begins to ask questions. Ultimately, these questions will lead them to the place of contemplation and help them think deeper about the world around them.
