An intuitive watercolor + gouache experience designed for people who need a little less pressure and a little more room to breathe.

You made it through the week. Now come exhale.

The Friday Exhale is a relaxed, process-based creative experience at Restoration Studio designed to help you slow down, explore, and create without the pressure to make something “good.”

This is not an art class.
There is no perfect technique to master, no finished piece you are expected to recreate, and no artistic experience required.

Instead, you’ll be invited to move between watercolor on paper, HIMI gouache, or both, experimenting with color, movement, layering, water, and intuitive mark making while learning simple ways to let the creative process lead.

We’ll offer just enough guidance to help you get started, then give you the freedom to explore.
Come with your girlfriends. Make it a date night. Come alone and claim two quiet hours at the end of your week just for yourself.

Your evening includes:
Access to watercolor and HIMI gouache materials
Gentle guidance in intuitive, process-based painting
Plenty of room to experiment, wander, and make a mess
Water and sparkling water
Herbal tea
A glass of bubbly
A calm, welcoming studio environment where you do not have to perform
