Join us for an intimate evening inside Restoration Studio as we step into the vibrant creative world of Houston contemporary visual artist Amanda Berg through conversation, storytelling, and immersive creative exploration.

Studio Conversations is a unique artist series designed to bring guests beyond the finished artwork and into the heart of the creative process. Through candid conversation and hands-on exploration, participants have the opportunity to connect with working artists, discover what inspires their work, and experience creativity from the inside out.

Known for her richly layered mixed media collages, assemblages, sculptures, and visual storytelling, Amanda Berg creates work that explores memory, resilience, imagination, and human connection. Drawing from found objects, texture, color, symbolism, and personal narrative, her pieces invite viewers into worlds that feel both deeply personal and universally relatable.

The evening begins with a live artist conversation where Amanda will share her creative journey, artistic evolution, sources of inspiration, and the stories behind her work. Guests will then transition into an immersive hands-on creative experience inspired by Amanda's signature approach to layering materials, textures, imagery, and meaning.

This is not a traditional art class.

Amanda Berg is a Houston-based contemporary visual artist whose work spans mixed media collage, assemblage, sculpture, and installation. Through vibrant color palettes, found materials, layered textures, and visual storytelling, she creates immersive works that explore connection, memory, resilience, imagination, and the shared human experience.
Her work has been exhibited throughout Houston and internationally, including exhibitions at Sawyer Yards, SILOS, Lawndale Art Center, and galleries in Germany. Amanda's distinctive artistic voice combines playful curiosity with emotional depth, inviting viewers into experiences that feel both nostalgic and deeply present.
