HEART OF HOUSTON is a juried exhibition showcasing works by artists from across the Greater Houston Area. Organized by Artist and Exhibition Winter Street Studios representative Marie Casamayor-Harvey, this exhibition celebrates the creative voices that define Houston and reflects the city's diversity, resilience, complexity, and continual transformation.

Juried by Tanja Peterson, HEART OF HOUSTON invites artists to examine Houston as a place, memory,
community, landscape, and idea. Through painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and installation,
participating artists explore the many stories, traditions, neighborhoods, and lived experiences that shape one of America's most dynamic cities. Houston is not one thing. It is many things at once. It is the neighborhood and skyline, heritage and innovation, struggle and celebration, movement and rootedness. HEART OF HOUSTON embraces that multiplicity, creating a collective portrait of the city through the eyes of the artists who call it home.
