Join artists Mark Menjívar and Reynier Leyva Novo for a conversation about their work in "Across the Americas: FotoFest, Latin America, and Latino Cultures in the United States."

Menjívar’s photographic series Retorno explores the lasting effects of displacement through portraits made with former refugees and their children in rural El Salvador.

Novo’s paintings consider how memory and the limits of what we can see influence our understanding of history and truth.

The artists will discuss their projects and how they relate to the exhibition’s broader themes.
