When you see and approach one of my paintings, you are in front of abstract design's pictorial qualities, color harmonies and delicate brush strokes, with the inclusion of thread, then by zooming out or stepping back, you will see a realistic image that brings all of the parts and fragments together, usually in the form of a portrait. This is why I call my artistic vision "Abstrealism." Abstract and figurative principles follow nature in that the parts form a whole. My reorganization process affirms that everything in creation has a place and a purpose. My wish is that you will perceive a sense of wholeness. My hope is that this approach brings you joy and healing and leaves you as a spectator, elevating it as light overcomes darkness.
