I create contemporary portraits that explore human connection through bold color, expressive brushstrokes, and layered texture. Raised in Venezuela with Spanish roots, my work is shaped by the cultures, people, and experiences that have influenced my journey, including the diverse communities I now call home in Houston. Rather than capturing a specific person, my paintings express emotion, resilience, and belonging, inviting viewers to find a piece of themselves in every face. Through color and movement, I hope to create work that sparks conversation and genuine connection.
