Chloe Pruett is a contemporary oil painter born and based in Houston, Texas. She holds a BA in Studio Art from the University of Texas at Austin (2026). In Spring 2025, she attended the Marchutz Core Art Program at ACM-IAU in Aix-en-Provence, France, painting en plein air and drawing inspiration from the Impressionists. Pruett works on highly prepared surfaces and pulls from discarded found photos to emphasize the absurdity of the image and control the narrative.
