Second Saturday at Spring Street - Out of This World!

view facebook event

Sawyer Yards is part of history as one of the largest creative communities in the nation and we can’t wait to join Houstonians in celebrating the Moon landing’s historic 50th anniversary. On the Second Saturday of every month, Sawyer Yards invites the public to tour more than 350 open art studios, explore an outdoor makers market and grab a craft brew with friends and family.

July’s Second Saturday will be out of this world with a variety of space-themed fitness offerings, craft beer and interactive art experiences throughout the campus. From 6-10 p.m., Sawyer Yards will host the following activities in conjunction with the outdoor Market at Sawyer Yards and Second Saturday Open Studios:

  • Relive the experience of being in space with projections of the solar system in the old Silos train shed and clips of the moon landing shown on the historic Riviana Rice silos
  • Enjoy a specialty craft beer and space-themed movies at Holler Brewing Co.
  • Grab your friends for space-themed photo opportunities in select buildings

Free and open to the public!
