Our Lives, Shaped, by Lines.

Are we defined by LINES?

As the celebration of the line continues in ECG, Sabine Street Studios are happy to offer a panel discussion centered around the importance of the line as a conceptual and practical element in the design and construction of buildings, public spaces, and city planning, with an emphasis on Houston city planning, parks, public spaces, and roadways.

Established architect Art Chavez, AIA, LEED AP, alongside architect/artists Betirri Bengston and Fernando Muñoz discuss how as our lives as city inhabitants are guided and bounded by the constructed lines which surround us.

The event is part of East Corridor Gallery year long programming of artistic and educational activities, partially funded by the City of Houston through the Houston Arts Alliance. The event is free and open to the public, encouraged to attend are students, artists, community members who share an interest in the future of Houston.
