THE TRAIN SHED AT ART ALLEY, 6-7PM

Colombian artist and designer Miller Quevedo’s work is all about “connecting your senses.”   He invites viewers to experience his artwork through sight, sound and touch. On Make Music Day, Quevedo will create an interactive sound instrument in the Train Shed at Art Alley where he invites you to connect your senses by interacting with a temporary sound instrument installation specifically commissioned for Make Music Day.

NAMELESS SOUND

SITE GALLERY, 7-8PM

The Nameless Sound Ensemble will create a one-night-only concert with an improvising orchestra stationed throughout SITE Gallery.  The concert will feature an original score for improvisation, specifically suited to the site. The audience will be invited to move freely through the space during the performance in order to experience the special acoustics of the space (and the artists sounding it) from various perspectives.

The Ensemble includes David Dove (trombone, composer), Ethan Adkison (double bass), Aaron Bielish (viola), Laura Dykes (double bass), Neon Guzman (cello), Jason Jackson (saxophone), Gabriel Martinez (percussion), Regan McKee (violin), Rebecca Novak (trumpet), Seth Paynter (saxophone), Ivette Roman-Roberto (voice), Aga Zėt (synthesizer)
