Depressed Cake Shop Houston 2019

view facebook event

Local bakery owner, Jody Stevens of jodycakes Custom Cakes & Cupcakes is hosting the 7th Annual Depressed Cake Shop - Houston, TX (DCS-Houston) along with co-hosts, Laurie Harvey & Kris Sowell from Ladies of Libation.

If you've never attended, DCS-Houston is a showcase of cakes and desserts that could double as an art exhibit. Donated baked goods are decorated in somber grays, blues and black to “signify the gray cloud that can descend over a beautiful world when someone is struggling with mental health issues."

Entry to the event is free, as always. There will be cupcakes, cake pops, slices of cake and other sweet treats will be available for purchase! Cash is encouraged, but we will take credit cards.

Drinks provided by Waterloo Sparkling Water, Katz Coffee and special cocktails created by Harvey & Sowell themselves!

With our new venue, this event will be much more free-flowing and there will be plenty of free parking.
