Houston's first and only citywide tour of ceramic artists' studios, ClayHouston's Bayou City Clay Crawl returns Sunday, December 3 for its seventh annual event, providing the public with a one-of-a-kind opportunity to tour studios and to discover pieces created by ClayHouston member artists in time for holiday shopping.

During this annual event, ClayHouston invites the public into the studio spaces of members to talk to Houston’s ceramic artists, see some demos, and enjoy an immersive experience into the clay world. And, of course, a wide variety of work will be available for purchase.

The 2023 BCCC features 60-plus artists participating in 10 studios, offering unique pieces ranging from traditional pottery to large-scale sculptures as well as installations and demonstrations. The event will be held from 10 am to 5 pm.

The Bayou City Clay Crawl is free to the public, and visitors can start at any location. Participating studios will feature resident artists and guest artists.
