Sawyer Yards invites you to step Inside the Yards, a new event series running every Saturday in October. Each week brings a different building, a different creative experience, and a chance to connect with the artists who make our community thrive.
Beautify the Block brings art and community together across Spring Street and Sabine Street Studios. Celebrate with a lively block party in both buildings while witnessing the creation of a brand-new neighborhood landmark: a mural by Sawyer Yards’ own David Maldonado. Stretching along the sidewalk in front of Spring Street Studios, this vibrant work of art will become a lasting addition to the Arts District. With music, energy, and open studios to explore, Beautify the Block is a celebration of creativity, connection, and the spirit of our community.
- Screen print your own bandana with Black Swan Screen Printing (free, available while supplies last)
- Groove to a DJ set and live music by Krista Sharpe
- Snap a photo in the roaming photobooth
- Explore open art studios and engaging exhibitions throughout the building
- Enjoy drink samples from local favorites
